The first round table of representatives of civil society which advocate for Leader measure was held in Banatski Karlovac on 15th of January 2014. The main participants of the round table were: representatives of SremIn from Inđija, Agromreža from Belgrade, Razvoj sela from Čoka, Carska bara from Zrenjanin, Tromeđa from Novi Kneževac, Rural Education Center from Zrenjanin, Leader + from Banatski Karlovac, Eko wave of Tomaševac, T.O. Jezero Čenta, Agroznanje Vršac and Đerdap from Donji Milanovac.
The first round table was held with the aim of defining an appropriate framework for establishing a dialogue between representatives of civil society and public administration in the field of rural development. The participants of the round table spoke about the importance of the Leader measures for effective planning and implementation of rural development in Serbia. The participants pointed out that the adoption and implementation of Leader measures also contribute to increased transparency and more effective cooperation within the public administration. The project will include two workshops till the end of January.
