The Government of the Republic of Serbia, on the proposal of the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Water Management, adopted the Regulation on the allocation of subsidies in agriculture and rural development in 2014.
Regulation is aligned with the incentives of Agriculture and Rural Development and with the Law of the Budget of the Republic of Serbia in 2014. This Regulation provides that the agricultural budget funds allocated for direct payments in the relevant maximum amounts for incentive measures for rural development and for special incentives.
The sum of the total funds that are intended to encourage rural development measures amounted to 955.4 million dinar. From this sum, 15 million dinars is intended to encourage the preparation and implementation of local rural development strategies – Leader measure. The amount of 15 million will be paid from the budget of the Republic of Serbia intended for public non-financial businesses and organizations.
